Welcome to our class site.
🙋 I am the proud teacher of Room 8 Scholars - Ms Siaoloa.
Distance Learning in Room 8
Since lockdown, we meet online every weekday from 9:30am - 10:30am.
This morning 5 Early birds show up at 9:15am (even earlier) to complete our early bird task.
This week our tasks have been about proverbs and idioms. Do you know the difference between proverbs and idioms?

At 9:30 am we're ready to roll.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We always start with fitness.
Armed with 4 tins, our instructors Matthew and Samisoni whip us into shape.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After fitness we say our karakia in Te Reo, English & Samoan.
We did some maths revision working on angles and for some, it was easy as pie.

At 10:00am, guest teacher, Mr Margetts, introduce us to a Blog Battle Challenge. This is my very first blog for Room 8 so I managed to dodge a bullet with this challenge.
Maybe you might like to try this Blog Battle Challenge with a buddie or with your class.

Let me end with a proverb or an idiom.
"Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today." Which one do you think it is, a proverb or an idiom? Do you know what it means?
I wonder if you can see any other hidden idioms in our class blog... la la la 😄
***Special THANK YOU to Mr Margetts for your help in setting up our class blog. ***
